Sedation Dentistry

We love what we do but understand that most people don’t look forward to dental visits. A little bit of anxiety about dental treatment is completely normal, but if you break a sweat just thinking about sitting in the dental chair, we can help! We’ve equipped our treatment areas with TVs, blankets, and pillows to make our office feel a little more like home. We also offer nitrous oxide when modern amenities aren’t enough to calm your nerves.

Oral surgery

(Extractions and 3rd molar extractions)

If you are experiencing extreme sensitivity or are suffering from advanced periodontal disease, you may be required to have a tooth extracted. With a simple extraction, the dentist can safely remove the affected tooth without needing major surgery.

Orthodontics

(Braces, invisalign)

Orthodontia is the branch of dentistry that deals with teeth and jaw abnormalities. Some people have naturally straight teeth that fit together. But if you have problems with your bite or the spacing of your teeth, you may need orthodontic care. Most people who receive orthodontic care are kids, but adults get braces, too. In young children, orthodontic treatment may guide proper jaw growth. This can help permanent teeth to come in correctly. Straight permanent teeth can help prevent tooth problems later on.

Implants

(All on 4, All on 6, Implant retained Over-Dentures)

Dental implants are a great way to replace missing teeth and provide a fixed solution to removable partial or complete dentures. Dental implants are artificial roots and teeth (standard titanium) that are surgically placed into the upper or lower jaw bone by a dentist or Periodontist – gums and supporting bone specialist. The teeth attached to implants are very natural looking and often enhance or restore a patient’s smile! Implants provide excellent support and stability for these dental appliances.

Endodontics

(Root Canal Therapy)

Endodontics is needed when the nerve of a tooth is affected by decay or infection. The pulp (the living tissue inside the tooth), nerves, bacteria, and any decay are removed to save the tooth. The resulting space is filled with unique, medicated dental materials, which restore the tooth to its full function. Having a root canal done on a tooth is the treatment of choice to save a tooth that otherwise would die and have to be removed. Many patients believe that removing a tooth with problems is the solution, but what is not realized is that extracting (pulling) a tooth will ultimately be more costly and cause significant problems for adjacent teeth. Endodontics treatment is highly successful and usually lasts a lifetime, although, occasionally, a tooth will have to be retreated due to new infections.

Endodontics

(Root Canal Therapy)

The pulp inside can become infected when a tooth is cracked, broken, or severely decayed. If the pulp is not removed with a root canal, it can cause an abscess or even spread the infection to surrounding teeth.
